Honor Guard Tab Class A Full Color Patch

The Honor Guard Tab is an element of the shoulder sleeve patch of the 3rd US Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and various other meticulously chosen units. Originally, this tab had been worn by the Honor Guard Company of the 1st Battle Group, 3rd Infantry (The Old Guard) starting in the early 1950s. It was officially authorized for wear by The Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel (DCSPER) on October 14, 1959. The tab dimensions are 3-3/4" in width by 2" in height and are available for individual purchase.
