These specialized forces typically consist of light infantry units designed for rapid deployment via aircraft insertion into combat zones. The Airborne Tab is positioned directly above and in close proximity to the accompanying SSI. This tab measures 2-1/2" in width and 11/16" in height, featuring hook and loop fasteners for attachment.
