ACU Digital Cold Weather Trousers - U.S. Government Issue

Completely waterproof…check; completely windproof…check; breathable…check!  This is what the Gen III ECWCS LEVEL 6 Gore-tex trousers provide.  These are some of the finest extreme cold weather pants on the market with their two layers of GORE-TEX® fabric based on GORE-TEX® Paclite© technology and are worn combined with other base insulating layers.  They are extremely lightweight with less bulk than previous army cold weather systems.

How about durable?  They are constructed with durable Ripstop Nylon and taped seams for durability and they incorporate near infrared signature reduction technology for further protection.  They are designed to be used in moderate to cold wet conditions as a hard shell layer, so don’t let the weather be a drawback to taking that excursion!  Go for it, but be sure to wear your Level 6 Goretex pants.
