87th Infantry Division Class A Full Color Patch

This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) proudly worn by the 87th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, affectionately known as the "Golden Acorn." The acorn, symbolizing strength, has been a consistent emblem throughout the SSI's history. Initially approved for the 87th Division in 1918, it underwent several re-designations and was eventually adopted by the 87th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command in 2008. This patch, with a diameter of 2-1/4 inches, is designed to be worn on the Army Service Green Uniform and is available for individual purchase.
