70th Ordnance Battalion Unit Crest (We Keep the Guns Firing)

Unit Crests, also known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit, derived from authorized coat of arms designs. While most Soldiers simply call them "Unit Crests," they are officially termed as Distinctive Unit Insignia. These insignias are worn by all personnel in the unit except for general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel wear the unit crest on the green service uniform coat, while officers wear it centered on the shoulder loops of their uniforms.
