1st Combined Arms Battalion 5th Brigade 1st Armored Division Unit Crest (Courageous and Versatile)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, often referred to as Unit Crests, are distinct emblems for each U.S. Army unit, originating from the authorized coat of arms. All personnel in the organization, excluding general officers and specific senior leaders, wear them on the green service uniform for enlisted personnel and on the shoulder loops for officers. Enlisted individuals are not authorized to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers align the crest equidistant from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base facing the outside shoulder seam.
