198th Signal Battalion Unit Crest (First Regiment of First State) 

Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit. Worn by all personnel within the organization, except general officers and specific senior leaders, enlisted personnel place them on the green service uniform's shoulder loops. Officers center them on their shoulder loops, with enlisted personnel not authorized to wear them on the Class A uniform.
