193rd Aviation Regiment Unit Crest (Ku Wela Ka Hao)

This insignia represents the 193rd Aviation Regiment. Its motto, "Ku Wela Ka Hao," meaning "Strike While The Iron Is Hot," is inscribed on the bottom scroll. Blue and orange signify its Aviation role, while wings symbolize its mission. The traditional spear represents Hawaii, the unit's base. It is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
