12th Special Forces Group Oval Patch

This oval Airborne background trimming is worn beneath the Parachutist Badge by members of the U.S. Army 12th Special Forces Group (Airborne). It designates a parachute-qualified soldier serving in a unit on active jump status, commonly known as a "Paratrooper." The unit was deactivated in 1995, and the trimming is available for individual purchase.
