11th ACR (Armored Cavalry Regiment) Unit Crest (Allons)

The 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment wears these unit crests. Their motto, "Allons," translates to "Let's Go." Known as the "Blackhorse Regiment" and based at Ft. Irwin, CA, this distinctive unit insignia (DUI) was approved for wear in 1925. It is worn on both the Army Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
