Good Conduct Two Knot Device
Good Conduct Knots, also known as Loops, are esteemed attachments awarded by the U.S. Army to signify multiple decorations of the Army Good Conduct Medal. These knots, which come in bronze, silver, and gold, feature distinctive emblems that indicate the total number of awards earned. For the second award, a bronze clasp with two knots is presented, with an additional knot added for each subsequent honor. Upon achieving six awards, the bronze clasp is replaced with a silver clasp featuring one knot, and at eleven awards, a gold clasp with one knot replaces the silver. This system highlights a soldier's ongoing commitment to exemplary conduct and service.
