122nd Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (Ad Caput Venire)

Unit Crests, also called Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique to each U.S. Army unit, though commonly referred to as "Unit Crests." Their design is derived from the unit's authorized coat of arms. All personnel within the unit wear the insignia, excluding certain high-ranking officials. Enlisted personnel position the crest on the green service uniform coat, centered on the shoulder loops. Officers wear it similarly, centered on the shoulder loops of their uniforms.
