A shield-shaped embroidered beret flash for the Special Warfare Medical Group features a semi-circular base and a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white diagonal line from upper left to lower right. This line is fimbriated by two maroon lines measuring 1/16 inch (.16 cm), dividing the background evenly into black and silver gray halves. The flash is 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width, adorned with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border.
