Special Operations Command Africa Beret Flash

A beret flash in the form of a black shield is embroidered for the U.S. Army Element Special Operations Command, Africa. The design encompasses a semi-circular base, measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall. It is outlined with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) inner red border and a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) outer black border. This beret flash received approval on March 30, 2009, and is available for individual purchase.
