Silver Good Conduct Three Knot Device

Good Conduct Knots (also known as Loops) are prestigious attachments awarded by the U.S. Army to recognize multiple decorations of the Army Good Conduct Medal. These attachments, worn on both the medal and ribbon, symbolize a soldier's consistent dedication and honorable service. Good Conduct Knots are available in bronze, silver, and gold clasps, each featuring knot emblems to denote the number of awards received. For example, a bronze clasp with two knots represents a second award, with each additional award adding a knot. Once a soldier receives six awards, a silver clasp with one knot replaces the bronze, and at eleven awards, a gold clasp with one knot replaces the silver.
