Silver Good Conduct One Knot Device
Good Conduct Knots, also called Loops, are official attachments awarded by the U.S. Army to recognize multiple Army Good Conduct Medal decorations. These distinctive bronze, silver, or gold clasps, each with knot emblems, display the total number of Good Conduct Medal awards a soldier has earned. For instance, a bronze clasp with two knots is awarded for a soldier’s second decoration, with an extra knot added for each subsequent award. At six awards, the bronze clasp is replaced by a silver clasp with one knot, and upon reaching eleven awards, a gold clasp with one knot replaces the silver, marking a high level of military honor and consistent service.
