Silver Good Conduct Four Knot Device
Good Conduct Knots, also known as Loops, are special attachments awarded by the U.S. Army to signify multiple honors of the Army Good Conduct Medal. These bronze, silver, or gold clasps, each featuring a knot emblem, clearly display the number of awards earned. A bronze clasp with two knots represents a second award, with additional knots added for each subsequent recognition. Upon reaching six awards, a silver clasp with one knot replaces the bronze, and at eleven awards, a gold clasp with one knot takes its place, marking a soldier’s consistent dedication and commendable service.
