The United States Senior Air Force Intelligence Badge is a prestigious decoration that recognizes the exceptional skills and expertise of Air Force personnel in the field of intelligence operations. Awarded to service members who have advanced in their intelligence career, this badge reflects their dedication and proficiency in the critical areas of gathering, analyzing, and utilizing intelligence for national security.

Badge Criteria:

• General Officers: General officers wear the basic badge when entering a headquarters staff or command position. After 12 months, they upgrade to the next higher-level badge, continuing to do so every 12 months.

• Officers: Officers earn the basic badge upon graduating from technical school or achieving a fully qualified Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC). After 7 years of experience in the intelligence field, they qualify for the senior badge, and after 15 years, they earn the master badge.

• Enlisted Personnel: Enlisted members receive the basic badge after completing technical school. After earning the 7-skill level, they qualify for the senior badge, and the master badge is awarded to master sergeants or higher, with 5 years of experience after achieving the 7-skill level.
