Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon

Criteria: The Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, an accolade bestowed by the United States Navy, serves to acknowledge acts of heroism and exceptional performance by ships, units, aircraft, or detachments within the Navy and United States Marine Corps. The recognized actions must reach a level comparable to those deserving a Silver Star Medal for an individual. Additionally, units from other branches of the Armed Forces qualify for this commendation if they are assigned or attached to Navy or Marine Corps units.
