Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Anodized Mini Medal

The Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (NCM) is a decoration awarded by the United States Department of the Navy to recognize service members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps for exceptionally heroic acts, outstanding achievements, or commendable service not acknowledged by a higher award. If the medal is granted for actions in active combat, the "Valor" or "V" device can be worn with the medal. Additional awards are indicated by silver and gold stars worn on the ribbon.
