Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Full Size Anodized Medal

The Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (NCM) is a decoration conferred by the United States Department of the Navy upon members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps for remarkably heroic acts, outstanding achievements, or commendable service not acknowledged by a higher award. If the medal is granted for actions during active combat, the "Valor" or "V" device can be worn with the medal. Additional awards are indicated by silver and gold stars on the ribbon.
