Navy Expeditionary Mini Size Anodized Medal

The Navy Expeditionary Medal (NEM) is awarded by the United States Navy to acknowledge members landing on foreign shores and engaging in operations against enemy forces. Eligibility may extend to those serving in missions deemed worthy of the award by authority. Established on February 12, 1874, it is not concurrently awarded with the Armed Forces Expedition Medal for the same event. Service members qualifying for both must choose one, and subsequent awards are indicated by Service Stars on the ribbon.
