The SSBN pin design features a silver Lafayette-class submarine adorned with a superimposed Polaris missile and electron rings, symbolizing the armament and nuclear-powered attributes of the FBM Deterrent Force. Below the submarine, a scroll accommodates up to six service stars, with each patrol earning one gold star following the initial one (the pin starting at number one), or a silver star for every five successful patrols. Upon achieving twenty successful patrols, the SSBN pin is elevated to a distinguished gold design.
