NATO Non-Article 5 (Iraq-Afghanistan) Full Size Medal

The NATO Medal is conferred by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to acknowledge the contributions of international NATO military personnel engaged in diverse peacekeeping operations. Currently, there are 10 distinct versions of the NATO Medal, each designated for service in specific regions or operations, including Yugoslavia, Kosovo, the Republic of Macedonia, Article 5 operations (two variants), Non-Article 5 operations (four variants), and NATO meritorious service. An operation's identity is denoted by a clasp featuring its name, and some versions exhibit unique ribbon patterns. Additional NATO awards for participation in different missions may be indicated by bronze service stars worn on the original award ribbon.
