Kuwait Liberation of Kuwait Medal Ribbon

The Kuwait Liberation Medal (KLM) is conferred by the Kuwaiti government to those who participated in the Liberation of Kuwait Campaign. Eligibility requires service during Operation Desert Shield or Operation Desert Storm, encompassing regular duty and participation in ground, naval, or aerial operations between August 2, 1990, and August 31, 1993. For those on temporary duty, a minimum of 30 consecutive or 60 nonconsecutive days of service is required, unless involved in an active combat operation.
