Kuwait Liberation Government of Kuwait Full Size Anodized Medal

The Kuwait Liberation of Kuwait Medal (KLM) is awarded by the Kuwaiti government to individuals who contributed to the Liberation of Kuwait Campaign. To qualify, individuals must have served in Operation Desert Shield or Operation Desert Storm on regular duty, engaged in ground operations, naval vessel operations, or as a crew member in aerial flight operations from August 2, 1990, to August 31, 1993. Those on temporary duty need a minimum service of 30 consecutive days or 60 nonconsecutive days, unless involved in an active combat operation.
