Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command Beret Flash

An embroidered beret flash in the shape of a shield, featuring a semicircular base measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76cm) in width. The design consists of a bottle green base with two 3/16 inch (.48cm) bands from upper left to lower right—yellow above purple—edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) white border. Initially approved for the U.S. Army Reserve Special Operations Command on 31 Jul 1990, it was later redesignated for Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) on 19 Dec 1990.
