California NG Class A Full Color Patch

This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the California Army National Guard. The grizzly bear, taken from the California Republic flag, is featured on the patch, and the sun behind it represents California, known as the Sunshine State. This SSI was reassigned for use by the California Army National Guard in 2003. The patch has a diameter of approximately 3-1/2 inches and is intended for wear on the Army Service Green Uniform. These patches are available for individual purchase.
