Army NCO Professional Development Ribbon

The U.S. Army awards the Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (NPDR or NCOPD) to individuals who successfully finish any Non-Commissioned Officer Development Course among the currently approved six courses. For each additional course completed, a bronze numeral is displayed on the service ribbon to indicate the number of courses accomplished. It's important to note that this recognition is in the form of a ribbon only, as there is no federally approved corresponding medal.
