Army Reserve Comp Achievement (NG) Anodized Mini Medal
The Army National Guard Components Achievement Medal recognizes meritorious service in the Army National Guard, with additional honors denoted by oak leaf clusters. Effective March 28, 1995, the qualifying service period was reduced to three years (non-retroactive). Officers up to the rank of Colonel are eligible. The medal, established in 1972, is generally for enlisted members. The regular Good Conduct Medal is for active duty, while the reserve version is for reserve duties. The Armed Forces Reserve Medal, awarded for 10 years of honorable reserve service, is available to enlisted personnel and officers.
