Air Force Good Conduct Mini Anodized Medal
The Air Force Good Conduct Medal (AFGCM) is awarded to enlisted personnel (excluding U.S. Air Force personnel after 2006) completing three consecutive years of "honorable and faithful service," indicating a standard enlistment without disciplinary issues. Any offense resets the three-year requirement, necessitating an additional three years of discipline-free service for accreditation. Created on June 1, 1963, it was discontinued in October 2005, as good conduct became presumed standard. Additional recognitions are marked by oak leaf clusters.
