Air Force Combat Readiness Mini Medal

The Combat Readiness Medal (AFCRM) is granted to a member of the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, or Air National Guard who has demonstrated sustained individual combat mission readiness or engaged in preparedness for direct weapon-system employment. Established in 1964, the award is conferred as a service recognition and is administered by an Air Force Major Headquarters. Achieving eligibility for this medal often coincides with eligibility for the Air Medal or Aerial Achievement Medal, and on occasion, all three are awarded simultaneously.
