Air Force Combat Readiness Full Size Anodized Medal

The Air Force Combat Readiness Medal (AFCRM) is bestowed upon a member of the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, or Air National Guard who has demonstrated sustained individual combat mission readiness or engaged in the preparedness for direct weapon-system employment. Established in 1964, this service award is granted by an Air Force Major Headquarters. It is noteworthy that achieving eligibility for this medal often coincides with eligibility for the Air Medal or Aerial Achievement Medal, with all three sometimes being awarded simultaneously.
