6th Army Unit Crest (Born of War)

The Distinctive Unit Insignia, formally known as Unit Crests, serves as a unique emblem for each U.S. Army unit, derived from authorized coat of arms designs. All assigned personnel to these units, excluding high-ranking officers, proudly display these insignias. Enlisted individuals precisely center unit crests on the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, as their use is limited on the Class A uniform. Officers align the crest on shoulder loops, following specific placement guidelines based on their rank insignia.
