509th Infantry Geronimo Class A Full Color Patch

This is the Class A or ACU patch for the 509th Infantry Regiment, initially named the 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, known for its WWII combat jump. Currently, the active 1st Battalion is at Fort Polk, LA, and the 3rd Battalion is at Fort Richardson, AK. They're nicknamed "The Gingerbread Men," "Geronimo," and "G Man." These patches, measuring 3 1/4" by 2 1/2", are for the Service Green uniform and are sold individually.
