41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Left) Unit Crest (No Motto)
Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are individualized for each U.S. Army unit, stemming from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel assigned to the organization, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman, enlisted individuals position unit crests on the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops. Enlisted personnel are not permitted to wear the unit crest on the Class A uniform. Officers center the unit crest on shoulder loops, aligning it with the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button.
