415th Chemical Brigade Unit Crest (Chemism)

This item is the unit crest, or distinctive unit insignia, for the 415th Chemical Brigade. The unit's motto, "Chemism," is displayed on the bottom scroll. The colors cobalt blue and golden yellow symbolize the unit's Chemical designation, while the hexagonal shape represents a benzene ring. The three barbs on the dragon's tail signify the three areas of the unit's primary mission: chemical, biological, and nuclear warfare. Every member proudly wears these insignias, except for specified high-ranking officials. Such unit crests are worn on both the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
