3rd Signal Brigade Unit Crest (Triple Threat)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly called "Unit Crests," is unique to each U.S. Army unit, derived from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel within the organization, except general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel place unit crests on the green service uniform coat, while officers wear them centered on the shoulder loops. Enlisted personnel are not authorized to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers maintain an equidistant alignment from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base facing the outside shoulder seam.
