Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division Unit Crest (By Courage and Arms)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, often referred to as "Unit Crests," is distinctive for each U.S. Army unit and is derived from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel within the organization, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel attach unit crests to the green service uniform coat, while officers wear them centered on the shoulder loops. Enlisted personnel are not permitted to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers maintain an equidistant alignment from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base facing the outside shoulder seam.
