309th Regiment Unit Crest (Esse Quam Videri)
Unit Crests, formally referred to as Distinctive Unit Insignia, act as exclusive emblems for each U.S. Army unit, often called "Unit Crests" by Soldiers. Crafted from authorized coat of arms designs, they are worn by all unit members, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel and officers alike affix the unit crests to the shoulder loops of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) coat.
