2nd Support Battalion Unit Crest (Mobile Sum)
Distinctive Unit Insignia, officially known as "Unit Crests," is unique to each U.S. Army unit, derived from the authorized coat of arms. All personnel in the organization, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman, wear the insignia. Enlisted personnel center the crest on the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, while officers maintain an equidistant alignment from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base facing the outside shoulder seam. Enlisted personnel are not allowed to wear the crest on the Class A uniform.
