2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment Unit Crest (Toujours Pret)
Unit Crests, formally recognized as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive to each U.S. Army unit. While commonly referred to as "Unit Crests," their design is derived from the authorized coat of arms for the respective unit. All personnel within the organization wear the insignia, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel affix the crests to the green service uniform's shoulder loops, whereas officers center them on their shoulder loops. Enlisted personnel are restricted from wearing the unit crest on the Class A uniform, while officers adhere to specific placement guidelines.
