201st Engineer Battalion Kentucky National Guard Unit Crest (Libertatis Custodes)

Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly referred to as Unit Crests, are distinctive to each U.S. Army unit and originate from the authorized coat of arms. Worn by all personnel within the organization, except for general officers and certain senior leaders, enlisted personnel affix them to the shoulder loops of the green service uniform, while officers center them on their shoulder loops. They are not authorized for wear on the Class A uniform for enlisted personnel. Officers align the crest equidistant from the inside edge of their grade insignia to the outside edge of the button, with the base toward the outside shoulder seam.
