18th Personnel Services Battalion Unit Crest (Service to the Soldier)

Unit Crests, officially called Distinctive Unit Insignia, are exclusive emblems for each U.S. Army unit. Derived from the authorized coat of arms, all unit members wear the insignia, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel attach unit crests to the green service uniform coat's shoulder loops, centered equidistantly from the outside shoulder seam to the button's outside edge. Enlisted individuals aren't authorized to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers center the crest on shoulder loops, equidistant from their grade insignia, on both uniforms.
