18th Field Hospital Unit Crest (To Serve And Conserve)
Unit Crests, officially known as Distinctive Unit Insignia, are unique emblems for each U.S. Army unit. Crafted from the authorized coat of arms, these insignias are worn by all unit members, excluding general officers, the Sergeant Major of the Army, and the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman. Enlisted personnel affix unit crests to the shoulder loops of the green service uniform coat, centered equidistantly from the outside shoulder seam to the button's outside edge. Enlisted individuals are not authorized to wear the crest on the Class A uniform. Officers center the crest on shoulder loops, equidistant from their grade insignia, on both uniforms.
