11th Signal Brigade Desert Patch
Shoulder sleeve insignia are typically worn on the upper left shoulders of all U.S. Army uniforms, although they can also be placed on other items like combat helmets. When positioned on the upper right shoulders of Army uniforms, they indicate previous wartime service, often referred to as "combat patches." However, these patches will not be part of the new Army service uniform. Instead, a 2-inch metal replica known as the Combat Service Identification Badge will be worn on the right breast pocket.
