This pair of unit crests, also known as distinctive unit insignia, represents the 103rd Field Artillery Regiment. The insignia features the unit's motto, "Play The Game," inscribed across the bottom scroll. Positioned above this is a field piece alongside a pyramid of cannonballs, adapted from the insignia of the Providence Marine Corps Artillery, an ancestral unit within the Rhode Island militia post-Revolutionary War. Additionally, the six fleur-de-lis symbolize the regiment's service in France during World War I.
