The United States Master Air Force Services Badge is a prestigious occupational badge that represents a service member’s proficiency and expertise within the Air Force Services career field. This badge is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated significant achievements and experience within their specialty.

Criteria for Awarding the Master Air Force Services Badge:

• General Officers: The basic badge is worn when entering a headquarters staff or command position, unless a higher-level badge has already been awarded. A higher-level badge is worn after 12 months and continues to upgrade every 12 months.
• Officers: The basic badge is worn after graduating from technical school or after attaining a fully qualified AFSC when technical school is not required. The senior badge is worn after 7 years in the specialty, and the master badge is awarded after 15 years in the specialty.
• Enlisted Personnel: The basic badge is awarded upon completion of technical school, with the senior badge earned after the 7-skill level is awarded. The master badge is earned as a Master Sergeant or above with 5 years of experience in the specialty from the award of the 7-skill level.
