Good Conduct Knots (Loops) for Army Good Conduct Medal
Good Conduct Knots, also known as Loops, are awarded by the U.S. Army as attachments to signify multiple decorations of the Army Good Conduct Medal. These attachments, worn on both the medal and ribbon, come in bronze, silver, and gold clasps with knot emblems to indicate the number of awards received.

A bronze clasp with two knots is awarded upon receiving the second Army Good Conduct Medal, and an additional knot is added for each consecutive award. Upon receiving six awards, a silver clasp with one knot replaces the bronze clasp, and after 11 awards, a gold clasp with one knot replaces the silver.
