78th Training Division Class A Full Color Patch

This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the 78th Training Division. The division, originally known as the 78th Infantry Division, earned the nickname "Lightning Division." It was initially designated as the 78th Infantry Division but was later reorganized into a Training Division in the 1950s. Currently, it is responsible for training and evaluating units within the United States Army Reserve. This patch measures 3 inches in diameter and is designed to be worn on the Army Service Green Uniform. It is available for purchase individually.
